Sage Announces Retirement for all editions of Sage BusinessVision
Sage has announced that all editions of Sage BusinessVision will be retired on December 31, 2026.

After December 31, 2026, Sage will no longer provide product updates, regulatory or compliance changes, or enhancements for Sage BusinessVision.

Sage will align billing with the retirement date.
Support and service availability

Customers may continue using Sage BusinessVision until December 31, 2026.

Active support and payroll plans will remain in effect through the retirement date, including technical support and payroll updates.
After retirement

As of January 1, 2027, Sage will no longer provide technical support, product updates, or compliance changes for Sage BusinessVision.

Continued use of the software after retirement may result in compliance or technical risks. Sage will not be responsible for issues arising after the retirement date.

Canada and Ontario are partnering to invest up to $20 million through the new Market Diversification and Trade Resiliency Initiative to help Ontario farmers, food processors and agribusinesses expand into new domestic and international markets. New Features
- Global Payments has an updated integration that supports Card Present transactions and better supports US companies
- Accounts Payable invoices support multiple distribution accounts, including Allocations
- Accounts Payable payments support bank transaction fees such as for wire transfers
- More than 4 tax statuses can now be saved for customers and vendors and orders, to better support US taxes
- Accounts Receivable Refunds now support more payment methods than Check, including integrated credit cards
- Inventory Prices can now be updated by Margin or Markup over Vendor Price, by Primary Vendor or by lowest price
- Accounts Receivable and Payable can now post to the base currency Bank or Expense account for foreign transactions if desired
- Copy Sales History invoice to new Order can optionally include UDF values

To enhance your Power BI experience, Spire has developed a custom connector that provides seamless integration with Spire. This connector enables you to effortlessly access and analyze your Spire data within the Power BI environment. The connector uses Spire’s API so the user will only be able to access the data they are authorized to view.
Spire MS Power BI Connector is now available for Spire Clients who maintain their annual software assurance.
